It is an innovative company, which promotes inventions and brings into the market the best of the devices including the recently launched Leica Sofort Instant Camera. It includes the range of cameras recently produced that aim at making photography to be a tangible product. The Sofort instant camera has a unique appearance, lovely in relation to hands-on experience and suitably stylish to carry around with you. Additionally, it is an instant camera, polaroid style that costs approximately $300.

Features

The camera includes different camera modes; classier, self-portrait and has a timer inbuilt to ensure you fully prepare before the picture is taken. The film is set to be available in color for approximately 20 pictures a time (double pack) and 10 pictures (single pack), inclusive of a variety of monochromatic colors for approximately 10 images or pictures. This is an interesting factor, which is set to distinguish the camera from the other instant cameras. It is set to project that creativity in photographers whose sole professionalism is based on monochromatic images.

The camera comes with its own accessories that include storages boxes for your images. It provides storage for any favorite images taken. To create memories and share them with friends or our loved ones, Leica offers a postcard integration element with the images taken. For remembrance, the photo album is a nice way to store, share and keep the memories of different adventures with you.

Differences

The camera is light in weight, which means it is portable. It has a unique style in appearance specifically designed by the Leica Team. It is designed to induce fun for its users on instant mode once any photograph is taken and instantly developed. The Sofort instant camera comes in a range of different colors and gives you the choice to select the once that complements you better. The colors include white, mint and orange. The inspiration behind the colors was for fun and outgoing social personalities.

Similarities

The Sofort Instant Camera is quite similar to the Original Polaroid 600 cameras and the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 cameras. The similarity extends and includes the selfie camera to the design of the camera in its front. The Sofort camera is sold at $300; this same amount can get you the Project I- Type instant camera. In addition, the Project I-type camera has additional features inclusive of a Bluetooth, it can be remotely controlled in order to incorporate creative elements and produces camera shots of an original Polaroid sized negative or film. Consequently, Fujifilm’s and Sofort both utilize the mini compatible film from Instax to make their shoots.

Personally, I believe that it has been overpriced and there is no unique feature it has not incorporated in other instant cameras. I agree it is a fun camera and easy to carry with you in all your daily activities especially in the holidays, but the price is quite high. For the Leica brand fans, I am not saying that you shouldn’t purchase the product but I am merely raising a point for discussion and an evaluation of the product at our disposal.
