HTC Unveils Desire 520, Desire 526, Desire 626, Desire 626s

HTC, the Taiwan-based company was founded in 1997 and since then it has not stopped bedazzling us with their innovative products. Their reputation is splendid and today they are one of the leading manufacturers of smartphones in the world. The company introduces new mobile devices on a regular basis. Their portfolio includes a variety of tablets and smartphones which all are powered either by Windows or Android operating system.

Today, we are going to talk about a brand new line of such products, and their specifications. HTC has done it again. They have a brand new line of smartphones which are budget friendly. However, just because they are budget friendly, that does not mean they are of a lesser quality and packed with not so good features.

The HTC Desire intelligent phone family is now richer by four brand new members. The family was introduced with Desire 626s, Desire 626, Desire 526 and Desire 520. These smartphones will be available through different carriers in the United States.

The series of Desire phones is pocket-friendly and they include a bit less powerful internal components when we compare it to the premium series of HTC phones which are packed with an aluminum body and some top-notch specifications. The new series of Desire phones come in a plastic body.

Desire 626, 626s, 526 and 520

The Taiwan-based company thinks that users should not have settle or sacrifice when on a lookout for a new smartphone. That’s why the company is bringing only the best affordable intelligent phones to the world’s market. The president of HTC America, Jason Mackenzie said that the new line of Desire smartphones will bring nothing but the premium experience with high-quality performances and style to every single user out there. The price is incredible as well.

All the phones from the above-mentioned line will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor which will be clocked at 1.1 GHz. The phones will feature 4G LTE connectivity. All of the handsets will utilize Android 2.1 Lollipop operating system with HTC Sense 7 UI on top. As far as the battery is concerned, all the units will have the same 2,000 mAh battery.

All of the handsets except Desire 626 will be equipped with 8 megapixels rear facing camera, and Desire 626 will have a front-facing camera. Desire 626s, Desire 526 and Desire 520 come packed with a 2-megapixel selfie snapper.

Only one member of the HTC Desire family (Desire 520) will feature a 4.5-inch display and accompanying resolution of 854×480-pixel resolution. Desire 520 will feature 1 GB RAM and have an internal storage (8GB). This particular smartphone will be exclusive to Cricket in the United States.

When talking about Desire 526, the phone will feature a 4.7-inch display and accompanying resolution of 540×960 pixels. The unit includes 1.5 gigabytes of RAM and an expandable memory (8GB). This particular phone will be available through Verizon pre-paid in the United States.

When talking about Desire 626s and Desire 626, both devices will feature a 5-inch display and accompanying resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. HTC Desire 626 features 1 gigabyte RAM and an internal storage with 8 GB free space. The phone is packed with 1.5 GB RAM and an internal memory of about 16 GB.

Users tend to store a lot of movies, music, media and images. Therefore, the memory of all four new members of the HTC family can be expanded to a brilliant 2TB with a microSD card.

Both phones Desire 626s and Desire 626 will be available through different carriers in the United States such as Verizon, Sprint, Cricket, AT&T and Boost Mobile.

Some of the units will come in specific colors depending on the carrier. For example, the T-Mobile version will support orange and purple while Cricket will support navy blue with a touch of light blue trim.

Of course, all the carriers will confirm the colors and models they have in their offer.
