Intel is known for the many innovation sit has made in the chip industry for a long time. Whether it is upping the ante in the data center chips, or providing power or to roll out the most recent processor architectures. But all this is soon coming to an end. While the firm is proud of all the foundations, it has built in the transistor technology that has ushered us in the innovative future. It seems that every year, the focus and attitude of the firm is shifting from just creating platforms and moving towards providing platforms. Currently, the company is looking for the best drone application and providing their clients with hardware to assemble them.
During the last Intel developer’s forum, Intel revealed a new product- a ready-to-fly drone, to be specific a stripped down quadcopter will be out by the end of this year. The hardware product is designed for the software developers rather than the commercial drone operators or the casual hobbyists. The ready to fly platform, supported by the company allows you to design your bespoke robots with sensors and cameras. The Intel drone as an assembled unit runs on the Intel Aero Compute Board and uses the Linux operating system, the RealSense for vision and has Santa Monica start-up program preloaded with Air map as an accompaniment. The Air map helps the users to fly customarily where they are protected and authorized to do so.
The Benefits
Intel firm hopes that people who sign up to buy the drone kit, have the ability to assemble it. As such, the drone will create an autonomous need to the client to continue other technologies that were designed by the firm sometimes back. Such include the Real sense cameras that have the ability to detect the depth levels among other benefits. The drone will include a pre-programmed controller that has the Dronecode PX4 software support. How the various users assemble and use the drones is entirely up to them. This is the type of experimentation that Intel has dabbed onto itself.
Other Chip maker firms like the QualComm, Ambarella, and NVIDIA have been opposed to having direct market share benefit in the burgeoning, not precisely regulated, the general and domestic drone market. The firms have finished this by offering their microprocessors to the other hardware manufacturers. These include the companies that are responsible for making cameras or UAVs and any other system that may be integrated to them to raise their functionality levels, customarily around aerial and filming the information captured.
The Ambarella has fixed chips in an inbuilt camera on the DJ’s drones, and for the GoPro cameras with the capability of being mounted on the 3D robotic drones. The Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4k cameras and flight height cameras have been used in the various drones like the Tencent-Zerotech indication commonly referred to as the YING. It sends information from the mid-flight to the Tencent’s most amicable media platform Wenxing and QQ.
Intel is an equity financier in the tech start-ups work including the Yuneec that makes drones automatically equivocate obstacles, especially in the tight spaces: the airwave developers for the handling of complement blurb drones; and the precision hawk. They make the fixed wing program for both rural and any other blurb drone.
The Intel drone features a quad-core Atom CPU alongside an on-board storage and a MicroSD card slot. The drone has a reconfigurable I/O that will allow it to connect to other drone hardware. The Aero Compute board is availed separately.
Expansion Strategy
During this year, Intel has acquired the Ascending Technologies, which is a German autopilot technology company. The inclusion of the Air map program in the Aero ready to fly drones is the best bonus for a start-up. In the past, Air map has been a partner in the leading worker makers, DJI and as good as the 3D person labs and robotics. According to the start-up CEO, the Air map is on the mission to make drones a partial part of life.
The CEO pronounced that the pervasive work user cannot happen safely devoid of an atmosphere management system that covers the low atmospheric spaces where the drones fly and relays the real-time information to app developers, manufacturers and worker operators about the atmospheric space conditions.

Conclusion
Air map is reputed in making permitted data in real time to most stakeholders like regulators and airports that need to know who, where and how drones are operating. The Aero drone will be complete and availed for purchase before the end of this year. The Intel company is yet to announce the organization on the sale price and date. However, those who need the drone now, can purchase separate components to join them later.
